Through the art of retouching, you are able to make the spectator look at the essentials of a photograph, redefining and shining a light on the true essence of what was intended. Personally, I prefer shooting a flawless photo in the studio and optimising the picture in post. To me, retouching is not hiding the bad, it’s highlighting the great.
